1,596 hours with my Fiance

I just spent 1,596 hours with my fiance which is 66.5 days or 9.5 weeks. However you want to look at it, it is a lot of time to spend with someone. If you want to get technical we could minus the hours we were sleeping or he was mowing the lawn but other than that we pretty much spent every waking (and sleeping) moment together.
Why? We both choose to have the summers off because you only live once and if you live it right, once is enough. We started our summer off visiting his family in Europe where we got engaged on top of a mountain in Slovakia. When we got back to Ontario we camped for a few nights, just the two of us, at one of my favourite lakes, Schooner Lake. We did some kayaking and climbing followed by attending some beautiful weddings in our area. Ontario is so beautiful. But Mike had never been to the East Coast so one day we decided to take a tour to the Atlantic Ocean so he could check out New Brunswick and PEI. We borrowed my moms car and away we went on a 16 hour road tour (one way). After returning back to Ontario we spent the last week of our summer surfing a wave on the Ottawa River. I am finally becoming a confident whitewater kayaker (almost).

We spent over 18 hours in a plane beside eachother, over 35 hours in a car together (and we were both sick at one point), camped alone together for days, and we never fought once. We argued like family would and we laughed like friends should.
I couldn’t imagine spending 1,596 hours with anyone else.
